We visited Sossusvlei in Namibia with our eight-year-old, staying at Desert Grace in the Namib Desert. From climbing the extraordinary dunes and exploring Deadvlei to spotting scorpions after dark, this became one of the most memorable stages of our Namibia journey.

Set amongst enormous granite boulders in the Namibian desert, Zannier Sonop in the Namib Desert in Namibia feels designed for couples rather than families.
