THE FAMILY HAND LUGGAGE GUIDE

A considered guide to what to carry for comfort, healthier and easy family travel days.

Travel days with children are smoother when a few thoughtful essentials are always within your reach.  Over years of travelling internationally with my son, I've refined what I carry so that our handbag supports comfort, health, and calm during long flights, changing climates, and unpredictable travel days.

With a background in public health and longevity, I think about travel preparation slightly differently.  This guide shares the simple system I use to organisation a travel handbag, including a compact skincare routine and a small essential medical kit designed to keep both adults and children comfortable whilst travelling:

What’s Inside the Free Guide:

  • The travel skincare set: the few products I carry to support skin hydration and barrier protection whilst flying or moving between climates

  • The compact travel medical kit: the health essentials I always keep close when travelling with a child, based on a preventative public health mindset

  • Comfort and regulation essentials: small items that help children stay calm, comfortable, and regulated during long journeys or unexpected delays

  • Practical travel items: the everyday essentials that quietly make travel smoother
