The City of Lights is a constant draw for me, holding treasured memories of many leisure and work trips over the years. I constantly reminisce long leisurely lunches at La Societe in Saint Germain-des-Pres followed by a gorgeous aperitif at Cafe de Flore; long days taking in the breathtaking art at the Louvre followed by a fashionable dinner Hotel Costes then ending the night dancing away at L'Arc or Le Baron; Sunday brunches at the boho-chic Mama Shelter in Canal-St-Martin; and shopping - yes, all the while shopping at Avenue Montaigne and Galleries Lafayette.
So when we had our little one, I wondered how much our trips to Paris might change. But lo and behold, Paris is still truly enjoyable with a child and add in all the gorgeous parks, you will still have a stylish stay! The city is also relatively flat so getting around with a buggy or stumbling toddler is easy enough. I would just avoid the subway and rather rely on taxis when there.
