If you’ve ever dreamed of a luxury villa-meets-agriturismo stay in Tuscany, let me introduce you to a place that doesn’t just live up to the dream—it defines it.
Welcome to Podere Cavalbianco, a refined yet soulful estate nestled in the rolling hills of Monte San Savino. This isn’t a hotel. It’s not even just a villa. It’s a place where you are welcomed like family, and treated to all the quiet pleasures of Tuscany—organic food, warm hospitality, and the elegance of a private villa with 5-star perks.

A Tuscan Agriturismo-Villa Like No Other
Podere Cavalbianco is hosted by Alessandro Piedimonte and Angela Bellon, a couple whose dedication to their land and guests is at the heart of everything. Their vision? A stay that combines the warmth of staying with friends and the ease of a fully staffed luxury Tuscan villa.
They’ve built what can only be described as a 5-star agriturismo-private villa experience: an estate where everything—from the handmade pasta to the wild herbs in your salad—is lovingly, personally sourced and served with pride.

Your Own Private Villa in Monte San Savino
Our family villa was a dream of rustic elegance—natural linens, stone walls, and panoramic terraces that overlooked Tuscany’s soft, undulating hills. But the real showstopper? The heated infinity pool, which stretched toward the horizon and became our daily gathering point.
Each morning, we sipped espresso by the water. Each evening, we watched the sun sink behind the cypress trees. And in between? Pure ease.
It’s the kind of place where your shoulders drop by day two. Where children run barefoot through lavender, and adults lose track of time entirely.

Food at Podere Cavalbianco: A True Farm-to-Table Experience
Let’s talk about the food—because it deserves its own headline.
Every ingredient served at Podere Cavalbianco is personally selected by Alessandro and Angela. From local eggs and cheeses to vegetables, every bite reflects their commitment to quality and seasonality.
We opted for the private chef experience for almost all the nights we were there—and it’s something I’d recommend to every guest. Each night brought a new menu:
Handmade pici pasta with slow-cooked tomato sauce, zucchini crema or wild boar ragu
Lemon-roasted chicken with rosemary from the herb garden, and mushrooms
Fresh strawberry tart, drizzled with cream
The best bruschettas I have ever had: tomato and also clam
Seafood risotto served with fresh prawns, clams, musself and the works
Gnocci Crema like you have never tasted before
Every dish was finished with Podere’s own olive oil, pressed onsite and served with reverence.

Activities & Experiences: More Than Just a Villa Stay
What truly elevates Podere Cavalbianco beyond the typical Tuscany villa rental is the array of immersive experiences:
Cooking classes in the stunning indoor shared kitchen (yes, we learned to make ravioli from scratch)
A peaceful private sauna hidden amongst the olive trees
Beekeeping and garden tours for children (and curious adults)
Movie nights under the stars complete with blankets and popcorn
Guided olive oil tastings
And, of course, full access to the estate’s infinity pool and shaded dining terraces
Whether you’re travelling as a couple or with children, these experiences are thoughtfully designed to reconnect you with nature, food, and family.

For Families, Couples, and Soul-Seekers Alike
Podere Cavalbianco is a family-friendly villa in Tuscany—but it’s also perfect for couples or small groups of friends. The large villa is subdivided into 2 private sections, the first that houses a family of 4 with it's own kitchen, living room, dining room and 2 bedrooms, and the second which has 5 bedrooms, in a similar format, offering total privacy with shared access to amenities like the pool, gardens, and outdoor and another shared kitchen and dining room.
Our son was utterly enchanted: mornings spent exploring the herb garden, afternoons splashing in the pool, and evenings tucked into a beanbag for open-air cinema under the stars. Meanwhile, we took long walks through the olive groves and sat for hours at the long farmhouse table, sipping local wine and watching the hills fade into dusk.

Sustainability and Soul
Unlike many “luxury” properties, Podere Cavalbianco walks the talk. It’s rooted in a deep respect for the land:
Organic produce is sourced personally and herbs grown onsite
Olive oil and honey are produced sustainably and served at every meal
Waste is minimal, and water usage is carefully managed
Even the design ethos—natural materials, local craftsmanship, Italian authenticity—reflects harmony with the landscape
It’s rare to find a luxury agriturismo-villa in Tuscany that is both so beautiful and so values-aligned that also offers you the privacy and perks of a luxury hotel.

Final Thoughts: A Hidden Gem Worth Returning To
We left Podere Cavalbianco slower, calmer, fuller in ways that had little to do with food (though we were very well fed). It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to come back to. A chapter in your story, not a footnote.
And that’s the mark of true luxury, isn’t it? Not gold taps or room service, but being held by a place. Remembered. Nourished. Memories that are etched in our minds forever.
If you’re looking for a Tuscany villa with heart, elegance, and soul—Podere Cavalbianco is the one.
